6.1 Richter Scale of Earthquake Shook the Region of Papua ( 4/10, Sunday)

An earthquake with a strength 6.1 Richter scale shook the region of Papua, Indonesia. Epicenter located 123 km northwest of Manokwari, or 197 km east of Sorong, or 284 km northeast of Fakfak, West Papua

According to Indonesian Climatology Meteorology and Geophysics Agency, the earthquake occurred at 10:36 pm at a depth of 56 kilometers. Earthquake located in the coordinate 0.47 south latitude and 103.03 east longitude.

This is about 3,500 kilometers from the Sumatra earthquake. Until now, the damage and the victims have not been known.
